Field Trip

Hey guys! Just wanted to remind everyone that we are having our first field trip of the year on Thursday, September 24th. We will be headed to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. The park is providing lunch for all of us. They are also providing transportation and admission fees. We are all going to need to be at school at 8:30 because the bus will be there to pick us up. I am so excited about this and I am sure you are as well!

What a Great First Week!

Hey 6th Graders,
What a great first week we had. Our goals for week one were to know each others names, know a little bit about each other, learn the basic expectations of the class (bathroom procedures, transitions, bell signal), create the class rules together, discuss our hopes and dreams for the year, and to have fun. I am really pleased to say that I believe we were successful in accomplishing all of our goals. I am also excited to say that I am happy with our behavior for the first week. Let's keep it up. If we keep up the good behavior then we will be able to continue to learn and have a blast. I am excited to keep learning about maps and scales and to find out what is going to happen with Stanley at Camp Green Lake. I am also ready to start doing math this coming week. We will still be having fun and getting to know each other every day, but be ready to work hard all at the same time.

Thanks,
Justin
