January 25th-29th

Hello Everybody,

How about the crazy weather? The only word that comes to mind is WOW! Since we had a short week last week we will have a much more jam packed week this week. Not to worry though, it will be fun! Do not forget camp is coming up fast so be asking around for donations. We are leaving on February 8th and returning on February 11th. I will be sending home a "What to bring to camp" list this week. I know often times papers sent home may not get to where they should so be on the lookout. I will have report cards done by Friday and those will be sent out soon as well.

Now for the weeks agenda:

Language Arts:
We are still working on last weeks vocabulary lesson due to the short week. We are also working on our persuasive essays/speeches all week. I am pushing the due date back to February 5th.

Math:
Fun Fractions!

Social Studies/Ancient Civ.:
We are finishing up our Egypt projects. Hoping to have our museum exhibit within a few weeks.

Science:
We are constructing volcanoes this week and still are in search of 2 liter bottles.

MAPS:
Art on Monday and PE on Friday.
